Posted - Jan 10 2006 : 05:37:59 AM Does anyone have a recipe for homemade dishwasher detergent. Don't always have time to wash by hand (wish I could say I did) and would rather not flood my septic system with all the chemicals that are in commercial dishwashing detergent. Any ideas??

Posted - Jan 10 2006 : 1:41:43 PM Jenn, I haven't tried this recipe yet, but I intend to. It is 2 parts Borax to one part baking soda. Also, use vinegar as the rinse aid. Hope this works. Ivy |
