Hi Everyone,
A beautiful 4 inches of gorgeous snow fell yesterday! Yeah!

I tried to use the half borax half washing soda mixture in my dishwasher. I got a film of white on the dishes. Does anyone have any experience tweeking the mix so it doesn't do this? I have really hard water. I did still use the Jet Dry stuff.

Thanks!
JOy

If it's not illegal, unsafe, or immoral, why not try anything once? Who knows? You may come back for a second helping!

I have found that vinegar instead of jet dry stops the film on my dishes. Every dishwasher is a little different, hopefully the vinegar will help most people out.

I use plain vineger rather than the jet dry.

Well, I have never noticed the little place to put liquid in. I was just going to ask where acv is supposed to go so I went and looked in mine. There is a little place with a screw on top I've not seen before. So I just put the acv in.

I've never used the jet dry so I will try this. I'm glad I saw this. It's good to learn something new every day. Thanks.
