I can not find Washing Soda ANYWHERE in Billings. I asked my local Albertson's to special order it for me, but if they won't I will have to order it online! Yikes! And when I go back to Idaho I am going to fill the trunk because it is so much cheaper there than to order it online.

Here is the phone number for Church & Dwight the manufacturer of Arm & Hammer 1-800-524-1328. Tell them what you are looking for and the customer service agent will ask for your zip code and then tell you places in your area that sell the item.

No one in my are sells it.

I thought I wasn't going to find Borax for a bit. Walmart had none! Home Depot did though. I haven't run out of Washing soda yet, but you girls make me keep my eyes open so I can pick up a few extra boxes. I haven't checked Ace hardware, that might be another place to check or your local hardware store.

We have a place in Mosby and sometimes we go east to shop, MC instead of Billings or Lewistown, so that's good to know. Thanks.

At Reynolds... it's a locally owned store. There are maybe 5 others in Eastern Montana. Montana is the only place these stores are..

I had been searching for it, as well. I did find a site online that had 3lb 7oz boxes on sale for $4.50 (but the shipping was almost $5 for one box). I actually just found some at a locally owned grocery store for $2.80 for the 3lb box!

Alee, I get mine at Shop 'n' Save (or is it Save-A-Lot). I think it's the first. My Wal-Mart doesn't carry it - none of them in the area do. Do you have a Shop 'n' Save near you?

God bless -

I've got it here in Miles City Alee.. How much is it in ID? Can I buy it and send it to you cheaper then that?? I *think* a box here was around $6.

I hope Albertson's can order it for you. We have one here but I never shop there. Just let me know if I can help..

Maybe you can get a co-op to start getting it and that way the price could be defused a little.

The only place that I have found Washing Soda is at the Jewel Grocery store by us. I think they are in the Midwest only. You may want to try a hardware store, the Ace by us used to sell it. I haven't been there in awhile though, so not sure if they still do. Good luck on finding a supply.

I am waiting to hear from Alberston's to see if they will order it in for me and the other farm girls here in the area. If not I will make do with another environmentally commercial detergent until I can get up to Idaho in the next couple of months.

I have looked EVERYWHERE for it in WA too, and the only place that carries it is Fred Meyer. I'm scared they're going to quit selling it soon. Thanks for the warning Alee - I'll have to buy a pickup load before we move to MT!
