What do you do with your wet towels after you shower?
We hang ours over the shower curtain rod, and now there is evidence of mildew spots near the top of our fabric showercurtain.
I've tried hanging them on the hook behind the door, but they never dry properly.
How do you get these silly spots out?

Thanks, girls. I will take it down this weekend to wash and see if I can get a towel bar installed on the back door somehow--we lack quite a bit of space in the bathroom, but I think I can make it work.

I use wall mounted towel bars rather than hooks. The towels are dry in just a few hours.

I add extra hooks in the bathroom in a spot that get ventilation, to let mine dry out. If they are really soaking wet, the go outside for 5 minutes in the HOT sun, while I am getting dressed, and they come back nice and fresh. I would say, also, soak in vinegar and OXY, then launder.

Jonni- wash the curtain in a strong vinegar solution. The vinegar will kill the mildew. You might need to use some spray wash or oxy clean to get the darkness out but the key is to kill it first with vinegar. Bleach sometimes can make mold worse!
