Magic Erasers are made in heaven and are worth their weight in gold, I swear!!! I spent the weekend in Walla Walla cleaning my new house, and the kitchen floor had years worth of stains, etc that I couldn't get off mopping, bleaching, or scrubbing on hand and knee.

I took a Magic Eraser to it, and the shtuff came right off. No elbow grease needed with those things. So now my floor looks near new!

Behold!! The power of the Magic Eraser!! LOL

You gals are going to laugh at me...but I thought you were talking about Dry Erase "markerboard" erasers! I was pondering...hmmm..wonder where you buy those? You mean the Mr. Clean Magic Eraser! I'm going to try one on my floor now that I'm in the know.

Here is a link about a false rumour that was spreading about Magic Erasers containing formaldehyde. I confess I had heard that rumour, too, and have not bought one because I believed it. Maybe I'll try one now. I have lots of grime from three teenagers!

I love those magic erasers too. Especially on the kitchen cabinets (painted white) and doors. The kids can muck them up so fast with their dirty fingerprints...those things work so well. I wonder what is in them. Maybe I don't want to know. But gosh they ARE wonderful!

Oh wow....!!!! That sounds like even a bigger difference after using the Magic Eraser than what I got on my floor!! Haha...As I was down there scrubbing away, I had to wonder if the deposit was technically a "damage" deposit, or a "cleaning" deposit... because if it's a cleaning deposit, I think the landlady is gonna owe ME!

When we did the walk thru on our move out, the landlord thought we had re-grouted the kitchen tiles and floor. I was SHOCKED to say the least!!

Oh Heather, I know...I have to wonder how many year's worth of grime actually was on the floor. Probably better not to contemplate that... LOL

I have driven past the Andy's Market, Rene, but I haven't had time to stop in there yet. Everytime I've been over there I have this super tight schedule...last time it was for the interview and viewing this house, this time it was for cleaning and unpacking. But once I get settled I'll put it on my list of stores to check out. So far I really do love WW...it is beautiful!!! I've made a note to stop by the Christian supply store, too... Maybe once I'm over there we'll have to do a farmgirl get together, and you can come visit!

I did walk by their farmer's market the previous time I was there, and it is sooo cool!! I've also toured the animal shelter -- they've got a great facility there. I'm excited about all this. :D

I totally agree!! I spent year working in my mom's cleaning business and I can't tell you how handy those things would have been back in the day. They get up just about anything without ruining the finish. I know they may not be good the environment and I use them sparingly but I love them. When we moved out a very old duplex and had to clean, I swear that thing took off stuff that had been sitting there for years, especially on tiles and flooring and cabinets. Power to the Magic Eraser!!!
