you can be oh so smart, or you can be oh so positive. I wasted a lot of time being smart I prefer being positive. |

Posted - Nov 09 2005 : 08:03:58 AM Have you tried just plain white vinegar? I put it in my Downey ball and it works great, doesn't leave a smell at all-in fact it freshens the wash even more. It doesn't necessarily 'soften' clothes as much as the stuff in the store but it does help with static electricity and it's extremely cheap!! |

Posted - Nov 09 2005 : 07:45:12 AM I got a natural fabric softener at Wild Oats called Ecover. It is made from all plant based products and works great. It only takes a very small capful to do a small load.

Posted - Nov 09 2005 : 06:54:15 AM Hey Bobbi, did you find something? Were you looking for something to add to the rinse cycle or put in the dryer? I was going to try the Natura dryer sheet. Does it soften or just eliminate static?

Posted - Aug 09 2005 : 11:45:34 AM Hi Bobbi, We carry our own line of homekeeping products, including laundry soap and softener. It is all natural, American made. The cost may seem a bit pricey, but both are highly concentrated, and you only use the smallest amount for each load. It lasts for quite a long time. Here is a recent review: http://www.inlander.com/bigscreen/288873784582031.php I have a very active family with four boys and it works so well for us. You can find it here: http://thefarmchicks.com/shopsite_sc/store/html/home.html
