I found this treasure when I was doing a little antiquing on Saturday...it followed me home and I am so excited. It still actually works and is in terrific condition!

Well Bev I have had one follow me home yesterday and today. LOL
One a speed queen from a friend of my DH and one from my great aunt, A maytag in excellent condition that has been in my parents garage for 20 years untouched and still runs fine. Of course my mother new of my hunt and did not share this with me until today.

It's the small things that make me happy sometimes.

Lots of hugs, Becky

All I can say is "BEAUTIFUL!" Masterpeice, indeed.
Love it. I have an old one, but not as old as that one. I am trying not to be jealous. Okay what did you have to pay to get it to follow you home? Or are you sharing that detail?

I am so jealous! I love to wash on a wringer so much that I sorta started a collection of wringers last year. 3 in 3 days. Boy was he not happy and convinced me to get rid of them all. However just today I found the washer of my dreams at Lehmans "A pink wringer washer" how wonderful. I have asked for it for Christmas. Wish me luck!!
Enjoy your treasure,
Becky

How cool! I'd expect to see one like that in a museum. To be in that good of shape and all there is miraculous. Congratulations on a great find!!

Wow! That's cool, but it looks a little like torture! Maybe for the clothes--bet your forearms will get "built" though!

So cool when you find things you can't live without!
