Posted - Apr 10 2007 : 07:47:03 AM Planting seeds, cleaning up a water source...I've done those type of things, but now our local NPR radio station, WNKU sponsors an all day concert and environmental awareness show (with lots of kid activities, conservation stuff, animals, etc...), so we do that. It's free, and we take a picnic.... Maybe there's something like that in your area, or nearby that you can get a group of folks to go to?

Posted - Apr 09 2007 : 09:15:14 AM I sure want to - I think maybe I'll use plants as placecards and perhaps do a version of the clean-up that Woodswoman is doing? I'm not sure exactly what to do yet - and I'd love to hear more ideas!!!
XOXO, Libbie

Posted - Apr 06 2007 : 12:46:38 PM I don't do a party, but I spend the morning volunteering at a preserve near my house doing some clean-up with some friends, and we usually grab a late lunch together afterwards. It's low key and fun.
