Not sure where to ask this at . I just pruned my grapevines, can I make a wreath from them? If so how?

Thank you

Thank you . I might have better luck with swags, great idea! The branches were wanting to break or make a very large circle.

If the vines are limber, you don't need to soak them. If the vines break, tie them to the rest of the vines with twine or whatever you have until they are dry and set in place. I've used a bucket or small trashcan as I made the wreath, to shape the center. If you don't like how it looks you can undo it and start again. You can even try making swags with them.

Dianna, do I need to soak them? Or just twist them? What if they break? Just keep going? Sorry lots of questions, it’s my first time pruning my vines. I hope I did it correctly.

Thank you

Oh yes Danyel!! You sure can! I have every year since we lived here. I just clean my excess vine up and start twisting it in a circle working it in and out! It's so nice, then I let it cure a bit in our shop and use them when needed!
