Ladies,
What is on your spring reading list? I overindulged a bit..
"The Real Witch’s Kitchen: Spells, Recipes, Oils, Lotions, and Potions, from the Witch’s Hearth" by Kate West
"The Real Witch’s Garden" by Kate West
"Cottage Witchery: Natural Magick for Hearth and Home" by Ellen Dugan
"Garden Witch’s Herbal: Green Magick, Herbalism, and Spirituality" by Ellen Dugan
"Witch in the Kitchen: Magical Cooking for all Seasons" by Cait Johnson
"The Way of the Green Witch Rituals, Spells and Practices to bring you back to nature" by Arin Murphy-Hiscock
So far, I have just thumbed through them, but it looks exciting. As you can tell, by the titles I am more of a kitchen/hedge witch.

Garden Witchery is my personal favorite. Nice to meet you as well. I will try to find the thread (not promising anything)

i found one of Ellen Dugan's books on my bookshelf, don't even remember when i got it, but i had read it at least once since i had made notes in it. Garden Witchery. i am more the folk magic type too.

I reread Ellen Dugen and Scott Cunningham every year around this time in the season.

I've read the Green Witch Grimoire but for me,personally, I prefer the folk magic as opposed to ritual magic. Which is why Ellen is such a good choice for any of you looking for a fun easy and practical read!

i like Cunningham better than Buckland also. i haven't read any of Ravenwolf's books. i will have to try some of them.

I prefer Cunningham's books over Buckland's. Scott's books resonate with me and Raymond's books seem awfully complicated for a solitary, like me. Silver Ravenwolf's books have helped me a lot, I have "To Stir a Magic Cauldrun" and "To Ride a Silverbroom Stick"

Kathryn~ "The Way of the Green Witch Rituals, Spells and Practices to bring you back to nature" by Arin Murphy-Hiscock sounds interesting. Let me know how you like it.

Right now I am in the middle of "Mother Earth Spirituality Native American Paths to Healing Ourselves and Our World" by Ed McGaa, Eagle Man I'm really enjoying this book!
I'm also working through Raymond Buckland's "Complete Book of Witchcraft" This one is ok, but I think I liked "Wicca A Guide For The Solitary Practitioner" by Scott Cunningham better. I read Cunningham's book earlier this year, but I think I'm going to reread it.
Then I have:
"The Earth Path" by Starhawk
"Aromatherapy for the Soul" by Valerie Ann Worwood
and a book by Ted Andrews on meeting and working with spirit guides

I think these and my upcoming school work will keep me plenty busy. But then if we get the snow they're calling for, I'll be lucky if these books get me through the weekend. LOL
