Ladies' Free Fishing Day

Location: Maramec Spring Trout Park
Date: Saturday, September 10, 2011
Time: 7:30 am - 7:15 pm

On Saturday, September 10, girls of all ages will have a chance to trout fish for free at Maramec Spring Park. Not only are the tags free, but plenty of instruction will be offered as well. There will be a special area roped off for women only. 100 tagged prize fish! Classes offered include fly-fishing, basic trout fishing and cooking and cleaning trout. There will also be drawings for special prizes. Fishing will start at 7:30 PM and continue until 7:15 PM. Classes will generally run from 10:00 AM until 2:00PM. Men are welcome to fish the rest of the park as well with the purchase of a daily tag. Maramec Spring Park, owned and operated by The James Foundation, is located on Highway 8 about six miles east of St. James, Missouri. For more information, please call (573) 265-7801.

Man I wish the timing were different! I was just up that way on labor day weekend and would have loved something like that.
