Posted - Apr 28 2010 : 1:00:32 PM Ok since Im am all bout music this week lol..heres another random Question... What is your "song" ..you know the one from your wedding,or the one you slow dance to with the love of your life, the song that makes go back to the first kiss, first intimate embrace, the song that makes your heart flutter...Or for the ladies who haven't found their soul mate yet the song they would love to make "the one" Everyone has one..whats yours?
When I got married almost 10 years ago our song was, John Michael Montgomery...Angel in my eyes We are not really sure why lol, it really doesn't suit us really,it just seemed like the song at the time lol..however over the years of being together and thru tons of things good and bad we have decided to renew our vows in the next few years and the song that best suits what we have been thru is Dave Matthews.."Where are you going" so that song will be our song we dance to then... I cant wait to hear what your songs are!!!!!!!
Blessed are those who can laugh at themselves, for they shall never cease to be amused:) |

I'm still not entirely sure how it ended up being "our song". We listen to Emerald Rose a lot in the car because it's one of the few points of intersection between our wildly divergent taste in music. And when this song played, we found ourselves singing it to each other, and, well...it got really smushy and romantic, and so now it's "our song".
And our movies (we have two) are "True Lies" and "My Big Fat Greek Wedding" (which is a wonderful movie by the way - if you haven't seen it, go rent it :-) ).

Posted - Apr 28 2010 : 5:42:35 PM Well, I'm still waiting (gggrrr) and my mom told me that "Drift Off To Dream" was good for me until I get a guy! Except for the fact that I've never been to a bar...hm. lol
My mom likes Shania Twain's "You're Still The one" for her and my dad. The preacher and my grandpa actually said it was never going to last, at my parent's wedding. 22 years later, they're still going strong!
