My sister and I are going to be in Ohio Amish country in a couple of weeks.
I have looked at the area website but it is definiteky tourist oriented.
We want to find an Amish grocery where we can shop.
Any Syggestions?
Michele

Michele,
I am in SW OH & we have an Amish community here in the West Union/Peebles area..Millers & Keims. They are fairly comercialized too, but I still like to get bulk foods from them & Miller's has a surplus grocery with overstocks at fairly decent prices.
The Millers have a compound of several stores & their houses are unbelievable. Gigantic, with gorgeous landscaping, gazebos, perfectly manicured lawns..you name it..Just no electric wires or cars.

Hi Michele!
Where exactly are you headed? What places do you hit in the area? What are you looking for in an "amish grocery"? I live about an hour or so north of the Holmes County area...many mennonites and some Amish around here. Would love to meet up with you gals if you'd like! Feel free to email me!
