Posted - Nov 03 2009 : 07:42:39 AM Hi there! Any W. Washington farmgirls wanna meet up for some chitchat over coffee (a clucking coffee klatch) soon? I thought it would be fun to meet local farmgirls and see what everyone is up to. If you are interested, let me know and I can set it up. Cheers!

Posted - Nov 24 2009 : 12:38:04 PM Let's shoot for something in January, when everyone has more time. By the way, I've set up a new farmgirl chapter for Western Washington. Please consider joining! It's called Bees in Our Bonnets in the 'Burbs. I also have a new blog set up at http://beesinourbonnetsintheburbs.blogspot.com/ where we can do some planning, scheduling and such. The official henhouse will be set up shortly. Thanks everyone!!

Posted - Nov 19 2009 : 07:01:11 AM I would like to - but I've never done this show before - I'm not sure how much is involved in closing up for the night, so I don't want to make any promises as far as what time I"d be free. Sometimes you have to tear down your whole display before you leave for the night - other times you can just throw a sheet over it and be gone - not sure about this one. Sorry - but please let me know if you decide to meet again! I had a great time at the Oly Farmer's Market when some gals met.

Posted - Nov 17 2009 : 2:58:54 PM Hey Sherri, what about going to the trunk show and meeting up afterward for coffee? Would that work for you, MaryBeth?

Posted - Nov 17 2009 : 09:35:56 AM That sounds like so much fun for me - but I wouldn't be able to go the Sat. after Thanksgiving as I have a show. If you gals do decide to go that weekend, those of you that go through Tacoma, stop off and see me at the Tacoma Art Museum trunk show. Looks like there's going to be some beautiful things for sale. Show is 10-6 in the lobby. If you decide to go to the cider mill a different weekend, I would love to join you!

Posted - Nov 13 2009 : 07:45:53 AM What about a visit to the Lattin's Country Cider Mill and Farm in Olympia, for a little shopping, browsing and sipping? I've never been but the website looks nice. http://www.lattinscider.com/
I could go check it out ahead of time and maybe we can schedule something for December when the place is all lit up. What do you think?

Posted - Nov 11 2009 : 09:04:32 AM I would love to - we tried to start a group a couple of times in the Olympia area, but so far it hasn't taken off. We did have a few people meet for lunch at the Oly Farmer's Market and it really fun. Let's see if we can get some interest going again! I know you have a few people up in your area on the forums.
