have a fun weekend planned with a few 'farmgirls' ... SugarBucket Kathy was born and raised on a farm .. there isn't much that chile' has NOT done on the farm! Twigs and her mom will be travelling from northern Kentucky .. and ME .. we're going to stay at a cabin by the Green River .. (it's also TWIGS' birthday!) will all go to a little country restaurant for dinner (Sulphur Wells) .. then back to the cabins for some 'creating' .. we'll be making those little fabric carrots and twigs is teaching us to do 'primitive painting' on candles. hope to get the girls out for a late riverside walk and 'snipe hunt' (remember those from childhood!) .. saturday, we'll head for town to hit all the shoppes (most especially glovers' station .. then up the road about 20 miles to go to a new coffee house for lunch and to visit a FABULOUS little primitive shoppe owned by another gurlfren.

The girls all have Sunday commitments .. or .. i'd be talkin' them into staying saturday night and going the Lincoln Jamboree!

will take lots of pics and tell ya'll all about it next week! xo

actually, we are just travelling a dozen miles from my home. we were going to all stay here .. but the 'stranger room' beds are buried beneath honey hunk's Mt. Everest packing. soooooooo .. i thought it would be fun to just rent one of the cabins down by the river in town.

however .. the FOLLOWING week .. i'm heading for Columbus, Ohio to the big 'wholesale market' for prim stuff and i'm sure i'll stumble over some antiques shoppes en route!

have to be back by sunday .. to get honey hunk down to Nashville, TN to catch his plane for Nepal .. AND .. i am going to stay in that area and roam around looking for some trouble to get into!!

WOWZER .. that 'empty nest' syndrome (after the kids are raised/grown/and moved on to their own adult lives) .. sure gets filled up quickly! (although, i'd give up all my freedom to re-live them 'little' again ... hmmmmm .. but then, come to think of it .. i never let their childhood stop us from roaming the roads .. jus' have to pack some 'car-toys' and peanut butter and jelly sammies .. and build in some fun 'kid' stuff along the way).
