Posted - Aug 26 2009 : 09:00:48 AM We have had so many wonderful ideas and plans circling around lately of Farmgirls organizing "Roundups" that I wanted to try to post them all in ONE Location.
I was fortunate enough to get to go out to Ohio for Deere Dawn's event, and what a treat that was. I loved meeting the Ohio girls and see how amazingly talented and gifted they are. But, of course, I would always love to get to do a repeat performance and drop in every now and again when you all are throwing these shindigs, So I am asking for you to HELP me "round them up". If you are planning an event, please post it here or e-mail me so that I can get it on the schedule of events.
If we at the farm can send you Sisterhood brochures or anything else, please let me know that too. We want to support you and your efforts as best we can. Just e-mail me at rene@maryjanesfarm.org
Here are some of the events that I have been watching. If I have missed some, PLEASE add them. I would encourage ALL of us to attend the ones we can. It is pretty impressive to see a bunch of farmgirls in aprons show up at ANY event.
Please help me keep the list going. Thank You!

For those of you joining the Laura Ingalls Wilder Road Trip please read the blog and updates. New details have been added.
Reservations need to be made ASAP.Campgrounds are filling up fast for seasonal guests. Also, We would like an approximate head count for everyone attending. The homesites need it for staffing and we need it to plan locations for meet & greets along the way.
June 6 is the Rendezvous in De Smet, SD. The trip will finish before Father's Day so everyone can get home to celebrate the holiday.
Look forward to meeting farmgirls across the miles.
Wende Thank you to April/ sonshine4u for all her help!!

Posted - Jan 22 2010 : 12:31:21 PM Hi All you farmgirls! I can't report an upcoming 'event', but our local herd of farmgirls met for the 3rd time last night at my house (we take turns). We've planned a once a month get-together, but we always ended the evenings with the comment, "It's not enough!". So, we might meet twice a month...depending on what everyone is doing. If you'd like to read about what we did last night and see photos, you can visit my personal blog (see link below). Our small herdlet of gal-pals is not an official chapter yet, but we'll probably get to that point in the future. One of the gals is the friend who intro'd me to the wonderful world of MaryJanesFarm.
