Posted - Jul 25 2009 : 1:03:00 PM Hello ya'll.
Just wondering if anyone would be interested in a gathering next year. The Living History Park has scheduled a farm fair type event and has graciously invited the farmgirls to gather.
This would be a farmgirl bash open to anyone who would like to meet in Kansas City for fun. We can meet our pen pals/sisters, have a cookbook exchange, barter/trade event and contests. Also, a bus tour of Kansas City and a tour of the organic dairy farm north of the city. Our part will be geared to the farmgirl simple life.
Please let me know if anyone or everyone would be interested. SOON!! This way I can get a grant from the city to help with necessities as the park. A good time will be had by all. Camping available and only 15 minutes from the airport.
Missouri is very central for everyone so please let me know. The event will be September 18, 2010. The kids will be back in school, Labor Day plans are over and time to start thinking abut Christmas.
Take care and give me some feedback with ideas and if any chapters would be willing to jump in, too.
