Hey all you Ga. Tn. and Alabama girls. Anyone going to the cornbread festival in S. Pitsburg, Tn this weekend? I am probably going Sat. I'd love to meet up with anyone else going. I have always missed it because of my granddaughter's birthday, but this year it's the week after the festival! SO I can go now. I am planning on getting some cast iron there. They have a plant that makes it, can't remember the name but it starts with an L. Anyway, good and local.

Let me know if you're going and we could alll meet up somewhere and maybe have lunch.

I plan on going every year but have not been there yet. So chances aren't looking too good for me. And it's so close, too. Another good one is Ketner's Mill near Powell's Crossroads in Tn. I love that one. They have a working mill and grind flour and corn meal. They have the best crafters around. It's in Oct. And it's so beautiful there.

No, I did not get to go. We were in the middle of having goat kids. But Nikki from Ala. went. She has a post on the Outpost. With the neatest pictures of the campers.

Kelly, come on over anytime. I have 13 kids. We're done now. I have lots of goats for sale. And my friend up the road has the cutest little Pygmy babies! That are not even as big as a cat. She has 2 kids so far with 2 more due soon. So you could see hers, too. Let me know if you can come.

Hey Kristin, did you make it to the festival?? wish I could have been there but I have this chronic illness that acts up and makes it hard to plan things. I saw a report on local T.V. it looked like a great time. Hope you had fun. hugs Phyllis

Would love to come see the babies! Our idea fell though about getting the goat, the guy just didn't want to part with them! I guess we will wait a while before we attempt getting one, glad your babies are coming soon! We did get Abby a bunny for easter, she is in love with him, she named him milkshake! Too Cute! See ya soon!

I know. that's why I have never been. But I am this year. Maybe Sunday.

Hey Kelly. I guess you have been busy. Are ya'll in yet?? School's out in 5 weeks? This year has gone by too fast. Maybe ya'll can come see the baby goats soon. I'm still waiting but anytime now. It's 150 days today since I got the buck. I'm counting down the days. I am so anxious. It's awful waiting. But soon now. See ya.

Tammy, it's just south of Monteagle Mt. at the foot of the mountain. About 30 miles north of Chattanooga. It'd be a good trip for you. Come on down!

Hey Kristin, where is S. Pitsburg? Or maybe I should ask what is it close to? That sounds like something I would like to go to!

Thank you, Toni. I swear my brian does not work sometimes. I wish you could come on down anyway. My husband was just up in Noblesville yesterday. He drives a truck and his son lives there so got to spend the day with them while waiting on a load.

Kris~ I am envious... I have always wanted to go to the Cornbread Festival, but we don't get to travel much this time of year since hubby farms. Have enough fun for both of us! I hope you can find a good deal on the cast iron. It is Lodge, and really good stuff! I wonder if you can tour the factory...
