Posted - Aug 30 2004 : 11:46:30 AM I would like to know if any of the Farmgirls have attended the Augusta Heritage Festival, held at the college in Elkins, W.Virginia? We visited that area on vacation, and haven't been able to take part in the festival. It's a series of week long classes, in old time music, crafts, art, herbs, you name it. You stay on campus for the week, eat communal meals, etc. I'd be interested in hearing any comments from anyone who has attended. It's not cheap, you have to pay board & tuition for the course(s) you pick, so it's not something I'd do without hearing some feedback. The festival runs through the summers, and I believe they have courses for seniors in Sept./Oct.
Thanks for any input. I believe there's a website, but don't have the particulars on hand - probably just key in Elkins, West Virginia.
