Posted - Sep 02 2008 : 10:01:02 AM Okay knitters...I chose this pattern in honor of my poor hubby whose office cat has been leaving him guessing as to whether or not she's expecting.
So, I present to you....the kitten dishcloth pattern! Here's the link for the pattern, since the designer stated it was not to be posted elsewhere.

Posted - Sep 08 2008 : 7:19:49 PM Thanks for the link to the kitten pattern. I see it in black for halloween maybe for a friend wrapped with bright orange bows. For those who don't see their pattern pop out I'm not sure what color yarn you used but one thing I have found in knitting these type patterns is solid colors show the pattern much better than varigated. Happy Knitting! barnagainkristin

Posted - Sep 03 2008 : 06:43:20 AM Linda- I'm a tight knitter, and the letters didn't really pop on the 2nd one until I blocked it..and even then I really had to fuss with it. I think if I do another one I'm gonna drop down to a size 3 or 4 needle and see if that works better.
Being a lefty, I had to reverse all the stitches on that pattern. If there's any other lefties out there who want to do the 2nd pattern let me know and I'll send you the lefty version.

Posted - Sep 02 2008 : 5:14:50 PM Thanks Diana /dkelewae for the new cute knitting project. Gosh I'm still doing #2, its ok but the picture sure shows those letters popping out more then what mine shows, even using smaller needles. But I know what it is and thats what counts ![](icons/icon_smile.gif)
Guess i'll just go ahead and start this one up too , thank you.
You know what I do and you all have probably done this b4. But the # 2 dishcloth has so many #'s and lines, so I copy it in my word pad, highlight every line with a different color, or make the line I'm working on bigger print, helps me from losing my place. If I have to leave the project I just type a note or check it where I stopped. That way I know where to begin when I pick up the project again. But I like to go back to the picture of the project , it gets me inspired to keep knitting : )
Happy knitting all linda
