Girls, I've got everything planted, weeded, watered, pruned and hoe'd. I've recovered from my first stubbed toe of the season and all I have to worry about now are the groundhogs. How 'bout you? Ready to set a spell under some nice old Virginny tree (or tea shop banner) and have a little gabfest? I sure am!

Is it time to get serious about playtime?

I think we are also waiting for Nancy in France to come back to her Virginia home soon...Nance, when are you gonna be here?

Drat ... I am on vacation July 15th, ... hmmm... unless I can get my SIL (who introduced me to Mary Janes Farm) to ditch the rest of the family for an afternoon and swing through Richmond. Keep us posted please! I am currently still living and working in Northern Virginia but spending weekends at our farm near Warsaw, VA, that's only about one hour from Richmond. Gotta check out what shades of polish are in my cabinet...

This seems to be one of those things we keep talking about but never find the time to do! I'm pretty flexible time-wise. Aunt G, less so. Don't know about you. I'm having a tea party out on the porch at my farm on July 15th for some local women friends who feel the need to throw some pearls on over their jeans 'n' tee-shirts soon, and tawk posh, so we don't wind up turning into something out of "Deliverance" by summer's end. I'll be serving different varieties of tea, many of them from a wonderful shop in Paris called Mariage Freres -- including one that I received as a most kind and generous gift from our own VA Farmgal Nance from France! :-) Ya'll are welcome to come on and join us. Do your toenails up real pretty, 'cuz we 'spect to be goin' barefoot and givin' serious consideration to which shade of OPI has the silliest name.

I thought we figured out at one time, though, that the Richmond area would be most convenient for most of us VA Farmgirls. (I'm near Warrenton.)

Hey Rosemary,

I have been offline for a few weeks and just saw the posting calling VA farmgirls. Did you get a group together? If not, or if again, what and where did you have in mind?

I see Aunt George was trying to round up some VA farmgirls as well...
