As promised I have been keeping up with what all y'all have been up to. Good to see you're busy as ever canning, drying, and much more.

My great niece gifted me 3 big zucchini so yesterday I grated them and froze in 3 portions for zucchini bread when I crank my oven back up in the fall.

Still not feeling up to par but this too shall pass and I will be back to canning when the weather is cooler.

Sara , please take care and hopefully these long hot and miserable summer weeks will start to change when September rolls in. I think all of use down here in the South are feeling much like you. It is just too hot to do anything but be inside the AC.

Sara, this heat takes it out if ya for sure! I'm too look forward to cooler weather. Enjoy that bread making when the time comes. I haven't done much baking this summer either.

Sara, so good to hear from you! I am putzing along also, hating the heat.
Trying to get some things done on the inside and hoping for another cooldown.
My zucchini got a vine borer before I harvested any, so I may look to my go to Amish produce stand. Craving some batter dipped fried zukes!
Stay cool and give Annie a hug from me!

The cooler weather will be here before we know it (hopefully!). Keep taking care of yourself, Sara.

Always good to hear from you Sara. I think everyone is looking forward to cooler weather. It's very nice of your niece to share her zucchinis with you.
