Posted - Jun 18 2024 : 04:36:19 AM Just cut off my garlic scapes, and not really sure of what to do with them. I guess I will chop them up and dry them. In the past I have grilled them with steaks and yes even tossed them. What do you do with scapes?

Posted - Jun 18 2024 : 06:26:34 AM Michelle, I have given up on growing garlic but several years ago I did have a good crop of garlic with scapes. I cut the scapes in inch long pieces and put in EVOO. As long as they stayed covered with olive oil they were okay. I used them and the oil in sauteing meat and frying potatoes.
