There's a series of books I have loved since 6th grade and still love - by Lenora Mattingly Weber - the "Beany Malone" books. I have found a few over the years at used book sales and recently found them at Amazon affordably. When one arrived today, it included a booklet by a company called Image Cascade publishing - www.imagecascade.com that has ALL the books by Mrs. Weber, as well as other books for young girls written in the 40's, 50's and 60's. I have several of those books too, that I've come across and been drawn too in the past 20 years (I'm 43). I just wanted to share this website and these authors with you all and hope you might love them too!
