Posted - Apr 20 2021 : 07:35:57 AM Yesterday my sister Betty and I went to our sister Bobbie's house for a day of grilling and fun. We grilled 1/2 of a duck, pork steaks, and best of all bologna. If you haven't had grilled bologna you gotta try it. Our sides were roasted veggies & artichoke salad - bakery pound cake for desert. Food was wonderful and a good time was had by all.

Posted - Apr 27 2021 : 07:27:51 AM Krista, I think you would master grilling in no time.
April, the 1/2 duck was already cooked and had grilling instructions on the pkg. I got it from Aldi and when I wanted to order another one they were no longer in stock. Aldi sells a lot of items for a short period of time and you have to wait for them to come around again.
Winnie, I have thought about a small table top grill for back deck but don't know if I would use it enough to make it worth while to store it during the winter. Storage is at a premium around here.

Posted - Apr 27 2021 : 06:55:30 AM Sounds like a wonderful day together with your sisters!! Now that the weather is getting nicer, it is perfect for grilling and soaking in a beautiful spring day. Sara, maybe you need one of those little hibachi grills for your backyard and throw some meat and thickly sliced veggies on it for a simple meal. Squash, eggplant, and corn on the cob are so delicious from the grill. I have seen recipes for grilled peach halves and thick pineapple slices too that looked delicious. We don't have a grill but I would love to try the grilled fruits one day.
