We bought a bottle recently of a ginger salad dressing, like that you would eat on salad when eating hibachi. I like to make my own dressings....do you have a recipe for a homemade version you could share?

Posted - Jan 18 2021 : 6:53:37 PM Gail, thank you so much! The one I bought was reallly good, but expensive for what you get, and I prefer to make my own. We just finished the bottle I bought, so these are perfect timing! Thanks so much!

Posted - Jan 16 2021 : 10:13:30 AM Nicole - here are a couple that I found online at different times. I like them both. Hope you find one or both to your liking. Ginger Lime Honey Dressing ½ cup honey zest and juice of 1 large lime 1 to 2 Tablespoons of fresh grated ginger (I like more) 1 to 2 teaspoons poppy seed Shake all together in a mason jar. I primarily use this on fruit salad, but have cut back on the honey and added some apple cider vinegar for a green salad. This is one I found online from Martha Stewart, I have used with changes to my liking. It is a good place to start. Ginger Lime Dressing • 3 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil • 3 tablespoons canola oil • 1 lime, juiced • 1 1/2 teaspoons honey • 1 1/2 tablespoons peeled and grated fresh ginger • Coarse salt and freshly ground pepper In a large bowl, whisk together olive and canola oils, lime juice, honey, and ginger. Season with salt and pepper.
