Posted - Mar 14 2007 : 12:01:12 PM I would love to have some antique looking mixing/serving bowls, I want ones I can actually use though. I started to collect antique ones but found it's pretty useless as you can't actually use them because of the scare of lead. Anyone know where you can find good reproduction ones at? |

Posted - Mar 15 2007 : 01:08:02 AM Buttercup -- Those Mason bowls from Lehmans are the same ones I purchased at Target about 8 years ago -- had to be made by the same company because they have the diamond design and are made in England. Never knew I could get more of those bowls (as usual, Target carries stuff like that for only a short time). I love my bowls! And I also collect vintage bowls -- I do use my jadite batter bowls, but the yellowware, the white ones, the green ones, the yellow ones etc. etc etc are just for looking at. Last count, I had 22 bowls not for use in the kitchen. I do indeed love my bowls. |
