If you can, please share with me your favorite recipe for Strawberry pie. My husband has requested a 'strawberry pie' for Father's Day. What do you recommend?

Sara, your pie looks really easy to make. Can the strawberries be changed for other fruits like blueberries or bananas?

From the Durning House Restaurant and B&B in Van Alstyne, TX - their cookbook "High on the Hog".
Million-Dollar Pie
1 (12oz) ctn. Cool Whip 1 pint strawberries 1 8oz can crushed pineapple 1 c coconut 1/2 c chopped pecans 1 (14oz) can sweetened condensed milk 1/4 c lemon juice 2 baked pie shells
Mix first 7 ingredients well. Pour into pie crusts. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour. Yield 2 pies.
