Posted - Dec 06 2018 : 12:32:37 PM I love cooking in them. The other day I made stew, home fries, a breakfast casserole, sweet potato fries and sirloin steak. I have a long list of other foods I'm going to make. When you preheat the easy bake ovens, you do so for 15 minutes, then they are hot enough (about 350 degrees) to cook. The newer models have a heating element instead of light bulbs, and they get equally as hot. All of my food pics: http://vintage-toy-ovens.com/foods-made-in-toy-ovens

Posted - Dec 05 2018 : 1:31:43 PM I seriously love these and miss mine all the time. I can't wait tell my baby girl is old enough to get one and make little meals with me. It will be so much fun!

Posted - Dec 04 2018 : 2:30:03 PM Connie, All of those pics look stunning! I love all your ovens of yesteryear. We have a couple here but are newer. Only 15 years old, I think.

Posted - Dec 04 2018 : 1:22:31 PM Oh yum! They looked delicious. I had an easy bake oven when I was a kid, but nothing ever looked this good when I used it!
