Posted - Mar 05 2007 : 11:09:26 AMI make yogurt with my goat milk (Nubians so there is lots of milk fat) and just the basic recipie. If I want yogurt that is just a bit thicker I will add an extra tablespoon of starter and let it incubate longer. I have heard of people putting powdered milk in thier yogurt to thicken it, but I would not advocate that since the high temps used to dehydrate milk jumbles up all of the natural goodness of the milk making it hard on the arteries and a carrier of carcinigions.
