I wondered if anyone had a recipe using goats milk to make yogurt. I have a recipe but it's just okay. I'm looking for something that gets nice and thick. Thanks so much!! Daisy

I make yogurt with my goat milk (Nubians so there is lots of milk fat) and just the basic recipie. If I want yogurt that is just a bit thicker I will add an extra tablespoon of starter and let it incubate longer. I have heard of people putting powdered milk in thier yogurt to thicken it, but I would not advocate that since the high temps used to dehydrate milk jumbles up all of the natural goodness of the milk making it hard on the arteries and a carrier of carcinigions.
