(I made it a vegetarian version, but you would not have to) It is a very easy recipe to make. I made ravioli and used this as a sauce. I added garlic & italian herbs.

2 Tbsp Earth Balance margarine (or any margarine/butter)
3 Tbsp Flour
3 tsp chicken bouillon ( I used a veg like-chick type)
1 1/2 C boiling water
1 cup soy milk ( or reg milk)
pepper to taste

In a saucepan melt margarine. Mix flour & bouillon togther. Stir the flour mixture into the butter until blended. Gradually add water & milk. Bring to a boil; cook and stir for 2 minutes or until thickened. Season with pepper.

This is a great recipe, you could add so many things to make lot's of dishes. It can be used as a pasta sauce,a vegi sauce, or gravy.
Here's a few of the ones I thought of.
Sundried tomatoes-Parmesean cheese-any type of cheese-garlic-mushrooms-garlic-any type of herb

Bridge, you weren't kidding! I made this last night and it was a big hit. Both hubby and I were sleepy full on the couch after dinner! Photos on my blog, I shared the recipe there too but gave credit where credit was due! Thanks!

YUM! That sounds wonderful. I will have to try this over pasta. Thank you for sharing!

That sounds great and I was just sitting here trying to figure out what to make for dinner. Great timing! We use Earth Balance too and I'll definitely make the vegetarian version. Pasta, fresh veggies, white sauce and salad it is! Thanks Bridge!!
