A very easy crockpot stew

Take the following items:

The stew was so easy, you just take half
a jar of spaghetti sauce(I used a spinach and cheese mixed sauce) and add a
package of frozen mixed veggies and then about 1/2 pkg frozen meatballs, then water
to cover. Let it cook all day in the crockpot.

Then when you near about an hour before you wish to serve the stew combine the following in a bowl:
1 cup masa flour
1/4 cup shredded cheese
enough milk or water to make a stiff dough/like thick, thick pancake dough
Spoon tiny one teaspoon drops of this into a hot skillet sprayed with olive oil, brown the little "dumplings" on either side until nearly done in the middle, but not quite..you just want it to be a slightly done "griddle cake" type look.
Drop into soup mixture and allow to continue cooking in soup pot for about 30-40 minutes.

This soup is very yummy and is nice to have about 3-4 meatballs and about 3 small "dumplings" in each bowl and then sprinkle a touch of cheese over the top.

A hearty winter soup.
