My daughter is making this for Christmas Eve dinner. This ought to be interesting! How many of you farmgals have made or eaten it?

I found a little info on it that I am sharing with you.
Happy Christmas Eve!

I had this a few years ago. It was good but kindof spicy and I have rosecea so spicy bothers this a little. I think it was the cajun stuffing that was spicy but it was fun!

Jewelry, art, baskets, etc.

Wow, that does sound good! Yummy to have all those flavors in one slice! Interesting that it's boneless... I couldn't imagine how the birds would fit inside one another.

The turducken was absolutely delicious! It was boneless and wrapped in a netting, like a roast or a turkey breast. Julia baked it in the oven. We had mashed potatoes and green bean casserole, and was a yummy meal. The duck meat in the middle was spiced just enough to lend it some great taste, and all the meat was really tender and juicy. Amazingly, my daughter said she got it at Publix, our local grocery. When I went to research it on the net, I was asounded how many sites there were for turducken! And not even for pet food either! :)

Hope everyone had a good Christmas.

Jeannie, how funny.... turducken is the name of one of my dog's favorite canned organic foods! It has turkey, duck and I believe, chicken... Now I'll go to your information and find out what you ARE talking about

I have had a turducken last year when I visited Louisiana, it was good. I recently saw a recipe for making one on the Food Network, Paula Deen made one, she added stuffing in between each layer. Have a great holiday.
