Posted - Feb 23 2016 : 3:38:55 PM I have found the Lowe's Foods Store in our area. They're directly across from our favorite library. I like to immerse myself in their bakery / deli area every so often.
They have the Community Table there, with a table laden with a few recipe goodies. I take copies of the recipes home to try later. A couple weeks ago, I found Bark N Chews (link goes to PDF recipe file) and went mad baking them for the pupsnot. He loves peanut butter, peanuts... so on.
So one batch makes a crap-ton of biscuits. We keep, wash and reuse spaghetti sauce jars because we don't have the cash for ziplocs or tupperware right now, and I'm hoping they'll be good for storing veggies we plan to grow this Spring / Summer.
Baked the cookies about a week and a half ago. There were so many, we cut each in half, giving Gingy 1 full cookie a day. Well... I went to the cupboard to get his first cookie today and discovered they were moldy. I'm a bit surprised and shocked. Did I do something wrong in the storing process, or is this the sort of recipe that doesn't last long (recipe is in PDF link above)?
