Posted - Dec 17 2006 : 3:03:30 PM I just had to get my granddaugher a easy bake oven for Christmas, since I had one you know. But this one is a microwave oven and I was wondering if there are any recipes for homemade goodies baked in that microwave oven to save money on the store bought versions? Does anyone know or have a link maybe? As always, I thank all for their help and ideas, your great!!

Posted - Dec 18 2006 : 04:14:13 AM Bramble, that is just too funny! I can just imagine all those five star chefs with their Easy Bake ovens, trying to outdo one another. And the mothers and grandmothers fooling with the recipes to see if it's true.
Too cute!

Posted - Dec 17 2006 : 4:11:44 PM Sue - I just googled Easy Bake oven recipes and there are over 10 pages. The first one http://www.budget101.com/kids.htm looks like it has a great selection recipes for Easy Bake etc... Further down NPR had real chefs use the Easy Bake to make some dishes for the 40th anniversary of it, and they are posted too! From one extreme to the other! Hope that helps!
