Instant Potato Mix
For 8 servings put the following in a zip-lock bag or jar with tight lid.
3 c Instant Potatoes 1/3 c Instant Powdered Milk 1/2 tsp salt or to taste 1/2 tsp pepper or to taste
To vary the mix I add: 1 1/2 tsp Ground Mustard or 1 1/2 tsp Ground Turmeric
To make add potato mix to 4 1/2 c boiling water or chicken broth. Stir
Recipe makes more than I need so I make potato patties and freeze. Hint for perfect patties - put formed patties into refrigerator for a minimum of 30 minutes before cooking. An hour is better.
