I am roasting a turkey today - I bought a frozen turkey on sale a week ago for $.39 a pound and found a little space in our freezer to put it. Then Thanksgiving my sister said she didn't need me to bring turkey to our family celebration, since her employer gave her a fresh turkey. Then Wednesday night, our neighbor brought us a fresh turkey for help my husband gave him over the year. There was NO WAY I could get it into the freezer, so into the fridge it went. I had to make a decision today whether to cook it or give it away! So I decided to do both, I am cooking it and inviting my daughters and their families over for a second Thanksgiving dinner. I guess we have a lot to be Thankful for. Not the least of which is I won't have to cook from scratch for a week as it is a VERY LARGE turkey!

See, there are bright sides to everything. (except maybe to the turkey) You have lots of food, you have family and friends over again and you have a turkey in the freezer for Christmas. Yea!!
