It's been a while since I baked a pound cake! I've forgotten whether I measure the flour BEFORE or AFTER I sift. Any body know? I thank you! My family thanks you! Happy Thanksgiving!

Measure after sifting is the way I learned. Then after that Julia is right..sift the other dry ingredients together into the bowl with the flour.

with pound cake I do both...sift before and then sift again with the other dry ingredients.
