I just wanted to show yall my recent Sunday cookie. I thought they came out really cute... I was thinking about practicing making all kinds of cookies this year, and next year, advertising and selling for Christmas next year...I have to prefect my lines, as my hands were a little shakey! :)

Hope you like 'em!
Cristine

Those cookies are sooo inviting! Would be easy to do with refrigerator cookies, no? (The kind you make up into dough and then make into rolls; chill; bake. Love the convenience of those!)

HAHA, Only another farmgirl would recognize the cheater's bacon cooker! :) It works better b/c there are no crumbs to wipe up afterwards.

I wouldn't begin to know where to start selling my wares this year. I will have to look into it thought!!
Thanks girls,
Cristine

Cristine, your cookies are adorable! It must be my scottish ancestry emerging. What fun you could have using different color schemes. I think the thumbprint cookies are my favorites, too. I use green (mint) jam and red (strawberry) at christmastime and make plates of assorted colors for Christmas giveaways.

Do you have a name for your creations yet? Cristine's cookies, etc.?

Jo

P.S. I recognize that microwave bacon rack, too! I use mine for cooling my cookies as well!

They're adorable! They belong in a red box with a green plaid ribbon. There's a gift for the postman, the hay guy, your feed store and your vet's office!

Thanks for sharing!

Well, this is my first year getting serious with them. I am making them on Sundays when Hubby is watching football :) I also have started a Family Recipe Book with recipes from mostly his family. I have very fond memories of my mom cooking really good stuff all the time, but I don't remember any of her recipes, so I've been getting lotsa mother-daughter cooking info from my "other-mother", my MIL!! :)

Cristine those are adorable! Last year I made cookies for the 12 days preceeding Christmas to celebrate "The Twelve Days of Christmas." I chose to use recipes from my childhood. I created a special section in my recipe keeper for each one , along with a memory to share with others when I pass the recipes along. I had forgotten the joy of baking cookies and yours have inspired me again! Angela
