Hi! Im have some whole milk dated the March 12th . Im wondering if that would ok to use for a amish friendship bread starter?

I also have 2 % milk dated the March 8th that tastes fine . Can I use that for something or pitch it ?

I hate to waste and was sick last week so my frig is getting cleaned today . Would love to use up all the items that are outdated or getting ready to go bad.
Thanks,
Ruthie Ann

We use our "expired" date milk for pancakes/waffles. I would imagine that using it to bake with is fine! I'm not sure about the friendship bread starter, but if it smells REALLY bad, I would toss it. I should clarify, we don't drink pasteurized milk, but I do buy a half gallon of past. milk for cooking uses, but even when it's past the "best by" date, we'll still use it up! My nose knows...HAHA! If I recoil when sniffing, I'll toss it.
