Posted - Apr 20 2013 : 2:19:03 PM I've got a question for all of you ladies that brew kombucha...
I'm starting my kombucha back up (stopped last year after a bad fruit fly infestation), and instead of doing the batch method, I'd really like to try the continuous brew method. I'm curious to know what containers you all use for this and where you got yours?
I'm looking for a reasonably priced containers (with dispensers) made out of glass or porcelain. I've looked at some marketed specifically for kombucha and they're all upwards of $100. Yeah, right! I know I can find some cheaper (may have to scour thrift stores and the like) but I'm curious to see if you all know of some other resources or DIY solutions. Thanks!

Posted - Apr 26 2013 : 4:58:58 PM I bought a 2 gallon glass jar with spigot from walmart for $19. I'm brewing kombucha successfully in it.
