this may not be the right forum but i think Easter eggs i think kitchen!
i'm planning a coloring day with my 5 grandkids- and my dilemma today is how to dry about 4-5 doz colored eggs at once??? i doubt that i'll buy the lil Paas boxes where you cut out the holes! and i truly cannot think of an easy economical way to put he eggs out to dry while we colr more and eat lunch!

i want to get this done in only a few hours together and i want them to take the eggs home when they leave ...

if anyone has answers for easy and economical -my farmsisters do!

i had thought about cooling racks and think that will be my answer!
we have a screened in back porch that i am hoping to be able to do this on-weather permitting!- and will set up two big "banquet" tables to color and dry on! i'm having fun planning this as the grands will not all be together for Easter so this is nonnie's (me)way of us being one!

What we do at our house is just put them back in the egg cartons and keep on coloring. Sometimes I will stuff wads of paper towels in the bottom if I want to keep the dye from pooling in the bottom of the egg carton. If you're not using egg cartons you could just dye the eggs, then wipe the excess off with paper towels or old rags. I can't wait for Easter, its one of my fave holidays!

Margo - we lay our eggs on their side and rest them along the top of teacups that came with my dinnerware. The width of the band around the top of the teacup is just right to hold the top and bottom of the egg - tip to tip across the top. I realize that won't help you with all of your eggs, but maybe it will at least help with some of them! Good luck! Wish I could be there to play with you! I love coloring Easter eggs! ;) Have a blast! Hugs - Nini
