For years, I used to order all those gadgets from infomercials....juicers, pasta makers, egg makers, chop-o-matic, etc.... They turned out to be more hassel and work than just using basic kitchenware.

I've been getting rid of electric gadgets and going back to manual tools.

My fave is the 'apple peeler-corer-slicer'. I use it for potatoes, too.

One of the best compliments from one of my daughters: "Moma, you smell good...like dirt."

My kitchen aid is number one with my food processor coming in at a close 2nd, closely followed by my salad spinner.

I got a keurig for christmas and I am in love. Probably because I can get instant hot water for my current addiction of MaryJaneFarm Burrito mix. Between hot water, coffee, and hot chocolate, and tea, it is wonderful to have on hand.

And the breadmaker. It is hard for some people to get out of grocery store bread, but when you apply yourself to using it everyday then it is so worth it.

My favorite gadget is my kitchen rasp. It doubles as a zester and cheese grater.

Joey, how funny, my DH also said, "My number one gadget is the coffee pot!"

I LOVE my mango slicer! It is so much easier to get the seed out than with a knife. My DD thought it was stupid and said "Really Mom, how often do you eat mangos?" I said "I live in Florida and I eat a mango and an avacodo almost everyday." It works so well. Joey

My favorite (not really a gadget) kitchen tool is my sprayer faucet. It's so much easier to fill pans and clean up!!! Next favorite is the "Magic jar opener". Opens anything from 1" to 3 1/2". Great especially when DH is not here. Very difficult to open containers with fibro and arthritis. At least I'm not throwing items across the room. Next would be the chopping attachment to my blender. I think I fell in love with that again over the holidays. Boy, am I spoiled!

My old hand crank rotary mixer! It is so easy to grab and mix with. I use it all the times I don't want to drag out the big Kitchen-aid stand mixer.

I am trying to be the person my dogs think I am.

I get up every morning determined to both change the world and have one hell of a good time. Sometimes this makes planning my day difficult.

I don't know if this is a gadget, but I am really enjoying my electric pressure cooker. :)
The girls favorite is probably the waffle maker.

I got a banana slicer for Christmas, and just love it. I like bananas in my cereal, and this slicer slices the banana in no time.
