Posted - Nov 13 2012 : 2:16:38 PM Hi girls!
I'm so excited! Thanks to "Kendra Homestead-Girl"'s awesome how-to video on pressure canning (you can visit her and watch it at www.newlifeonahomestead.com ), as well as to all of your support and recommendations, I finally found the courage to try out my pressure canner last night! Guess what! I did it! I canned five quarts of the most delicious homemade turkey soup! They look BEAUTIFUL! I am just so excited! And it was EASY - just like you said! I emailed Kendra to thank her, but want to thank you all, too! Like I told Kendra - other than all of you farmgirls (Kendra included, of course!), nobody else in the world I know would appreciate how excited a girl can get over using a pressure canner - successfully - for the first time! And I honestly would not have had the courage to try had it not been for her video and all of you! THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! FARMGIRLS ROCK!!!
Big hugs and happy dances -
Nini
