I love the fact my almost 13 year old hands me a shopping list when I'm on the way out the door and kindly requests that I would pick up the ingredients on the list so that he can make a pumpkin cheesecake this weekend. He said he may be willing to share some fall love with our neighbors if I pick up enough for 2 cheesecakes. Love this kid!

That's pretty cool!

Even better to see little BOYS who like to cook. It doesn't always have to be the girls.

My dad is a great cook, and I'm not talking just grilling either. He makes a killer chili, and awesome apple pie from scratch, and his specialty- pizza! He even knows how to spin the dough on his fist- and we aren't even Italian!

I am trying to be the person my dogs think I am.

I get up every morning determined to both change the world and have one hell of a good time. Sometimes this makes planning my day difficult.

That is one cool kid, Wendy! To think he's asking for ingredients to make it himself! My kid would just wear me down with begging to make it FOR him! LOL! And to think your son is thinking about sharing with neighbors! You know, he's truly something special.. You're definitely doing something right, Mom! Give each other a hug from me! - Nini

Wow Wendy! Sounds like you may have a chef on your hands. I would love to try some of that cheesecake too. Sounds yummy. That'd be nice to have neighbors like that around.

You have a pretty smart kid. I have one too. At 13 he announced he was making bagels. They turned out great.

Love a kid who knows their way around the kitchen and who sees the joy food brings!

Thanks for sharing and Happy Fall!
