Posted - Jul 31 2012 : 08:36:28 AM We eat them plain, chopped in fruit salads, made into salsa, dried in the dehydrator, mixed in the blender with other fruit for smoothies.
I didn't get to one last week before it went bad... so I gave it to the chickens, they picked the seed completely! So chicken food too. =)

Posted - Jul 29 2012 : 09:17:25 AM You have to make Cucumber-Mango Salsa. Check my blog today for the link. We loved it. We added a cayenne pepper too for heat.

Posted - Jul 28 2012 : 3:54:08 PM Oh my goodness.... mangoes are heavenly! Peel it with a knife, and then slice the flesh from the big seed in the center...and enjoy! I had mangoes for the first time last summer in Hawaii... I haven't had one here on the mainland that's been quite as perfect (like comparing a PERFECT peach to a just-okay one). But they are oh-so-good! Yum! :)
