Never had a mango before and I got three in by Bountiful Baskets pickup today. What do I do with them?

Leave them out on the counter. It won't take long.

Ah, yes, mangos are wonderful! Just eat 'em raw, in all kinds of salad. When they are ripe they are soooooo yummy!

I've been putting them in my yogurt and my overnight oats. One of our favorite fruits!

We eat them plain, chopped in fruit salads, made into salsa, dried in the dehydrator, mixed in the blender with other fruit for smoothies.

I didn't get to one last week before it went bad... so I gave it to the chickens, they picked the seed completely! So chicken food too. =)

Do what you love, love what you do.

You have to make Cucumber-Mango Salsa. Check my blog today for the link. We loved it. We added a cayenne pepper too for heat.

Oh my goodness.... mangoes are heavenly! Peel it with a knife, and then slice the flesh from the big seed in the center...and enjoy! I had mangoes for the first time last summer in Hawaii... I haven't had one here on the mainland that's been quite as perfect (like comparing a PERFECT peach to a just-okay one). But they are oh-so-good! Yum! :)
