My sister just moved across the country to start college! I'm so excited for her, and I want to make sure she doesn't starve, lol. Since she's there for the summer smart start, she doesn't have a meal plan with the cafeteria yet. There is a kitchen in her dorm with an oven, however, so I want to send her a box of 'quick mixes'. I'm thinking of filling sandwich baggies with pre-measured ingredients that she can add water & oil to, and bake in a Pyrex measuring glass. I have to think of recipes that won't use eggs, since she doesn't have a fridge in her room. Any ideas? I want to do some baked goods, as well as some soups/casseroles.

That's a good idea, Tina. :) I'm trying to keep these as budget friendly as possible... so looking for recipes I can use with ingredients in my pantry. I might have to look into powdered eggs, though. I've never tried them before.

just an idea, you can get powdered eggs that are organic from most survival/prepper web-sites...
