I am adding a slicer/mandolin to my wish list. I just have bake more beet chips and I could use one anyway.

I'd love to hear what brands you suggest. :)

Thanks. I love the corn cutting utensil they have. I love the hand chopper too, but the clear plastic part has been replaced (at my cost) about 4 times now, and I've had to buy a new one as well. The one I have now is going to be duct taped for the season. I wish they'd fix that outer piece. It never lasts long in my house.

Personally I think the one from Pampered Chef is worth EVERY dime. It has some safe guards built in that are kind of a pain, but worth the accident free uses! It does a variety of thicknesses, a variety of cuts, and dishwasher safe. I rarely go a day without using this tool! No, I am not (nor do I have any desire to be) a representative, just a loyal, happy customer!

If it's not illegal, unsafe, or immoral, why not try anything once? Who knows? You may come back for a second helping!
