I made some sliders tonight. I used grass-fed Longhorn beef which has almost no fat. They're going to be my lunch for the next few days. I'm through with buying my lunch at work. I'll pay for some things like cookies if I want a snack, but even with our discount, it was just costing too much. I also picked some blackberries today from my canes that I planted two years ago. Not very many, but it's a start

I have packed our lunches for the past 20 years, and brew our morning drive coffee.

Do you have a recipe for the sliders?

God bless,

Hubby and I pack our lunches every day. He works in a large plant and does not have the availabilty to resteraunts or fast food. I bring mine, because I only get 1/2 hour for lunch. It saves a ton of money and is so much healthier for you. I am able to stick to my diet better when I bring lunch. I even pack snacks. And I do not bring money into town with me, so no last minute changing my mind about fast food or junk.

I can't imagine paying for lunch everyday. Fast food meals are $6. WOW couple times a week!

Good luck....

Cindy, your sliders sound good. You will save money too.
