What do you eat, if anything, for breakfast? I have oatmeal with fruit every morning. I;m really never hungry in the morning but I know I need to fuel my body.

So what's on your plate or in your bowl in the morning

Right now breakfast is two slices of toasted Ezekiel Sprouted Wheat Bread --- both with organic PB, but one topped with St. Dalfour blueberry preserves. I also have two cups of green tea with acai. I tend to eat that for a few weeks, then I'll switch to oatmeal with blueberries, then back again to the Ezekiel bread. I reserve a true breakfast of bacon and eggs for dinner/supper. I'm a creature of habit.

On days I go to work as a caregiver, old-fashioned oats with blueberries, cinnamon and soy milk. Sometimes it is with raisins and peanut butter.
On days I'm working at home, my hubby usually makes the MOST YUMMY one-egg omelets one morning. Other mornings I have yogurt and fruit. On Sundays it's my own recipe for oat waffles (with walnuts) topped usually with fruit and yogurt.
Coffee . . YES!
English Toffee Cappuccino . . . YES!

Am definitely a breakfast eater . . always have been. Gotta have breakfast!

Scrambled or sunny side eggs with whole wheat bread. Used to have coffee but I've managed to cut that habit (for now!).

I fix oats in my rice cooker every morning. oats, splenda w/fiber (had to switch from the brown sugar per dr orders) raisins, diced apples, maple extract and chia seeds. Oatmeal is a great place to hid vitamins and extras that are healthy.

Sometimes cereal with fruit, egg on toast, steel cut oats, english muffins. It depends. This morning I will be having an egg wrap with beans, cheese, lettuce and tomatoes.

This morning I had ONE bite of oatmeal. As I was fanning it to cool it off, little black dots appeared! So, gross!!!!! I had to wait an hour or so to eat breakfast again. I had one sunny egg, one piece of toast and OJ.

A bowl of Dorset brand Muesli. I lived on it when I lived in England, and now my local Kroger sells it here--I love all the flavors, but Berries and Cherries is a constant favorite. I will always have it with 2% milk and if I'm feeling especially low energy, a banana or whole grain english muffin with violet jelly.

Here is my "breakfast of champions" as I call it: yogurt parfait with fruit and Grape-Nuts, plus my vitamins crushed into the bottom layer of yogurt (organic vitamins, so I just get a little earthy-cinnamon taste). Oil squeezed from the soft gels onto tongue (can't swallow pills). Strong coffee with sugar and chocolate milk.

If I have time, I crush the cereal. Add some flaxseed or flax oil, and mix it instead of layering it (French cream breakfast).

I think I know why I rarely run out of energy....

A hook, a book, and a good cup of coffee....

I make a smoothie of soy milk, a banana, a scoop of Greek yogurt, some frozen blueberries and strawberries. Mix in blender until it's smooth, and enjoy. Keeps me going all morning and satisfies my sweet tooth.

I'm an oatmeal girl also. Well, that and my cup of coffee with a splash of hazelnut milk. It gets my day started of right! I get bored with only making that so I make other things for the boys. Today, they are having french toast with blueberry sauce.

Eggs, toast and grapefruit is what I am having today. I have to have some protein in the morning. Sometimes I have smoothies with some chia or flax in it. I love having steel cut oatmeal, but I still have to have some protein in the morning otherwise I get really hungry fast!

We do the lowcarb lifestyle at our house. So usually an egg scramble with cheese and veggies. Or I will eat a bit of tuna on cucumber. I know it sounds wierd, but I need the protein to stay going all day.

I need something sweet in the morning, even though I know that's the worst thing to eat and coffee, coffee and more coffee. Good thing my doctor doesn't see this! lol
